Love of Perfect Spiritual Guide is in fact a medium to love of Allah.

The way of Divine love in Islam is that one begins his journey on this path under the guidance of a Perfect Spiritual Guide. Love of Perfect Spiritual Guide is a medium to attaining love of Allah (Divine love). The spiritual guide who is annihilated in Divine Essence gradually trains the disciple in such a way that he removes all evil attributes and desires of the world from his or her inward. And replaces them with the love of Allah.
